This past Saturday I was lucky enough to attend College Fashion Week. I had an absolutely amazing time. I met so many bloggers I follow, which was a dream come true. It was such a great feeling being surrounded by people with such similar interests to mine. I left the event with such a big spot in my heart for Her Campus and everyone involved. Sounds a little sappy… but it’s true! The evening started with some mingling. We got to interact with lovely brands and fashion lovers. As much fun as it was to mingle, the fashion show is when the real fun began.
As the models came out I just felt so happy to be there. All of the girls were absolutely stunning. Every time they would pose I would exclaim how cute everyone was! Their hair, which was all so beautiful, was styled by Drybar. Definitely makes me want to try more Drybar products! Not to mention, all of the fashion was so stinking cute. All of the brands featured are run by young women following their passion. Out of the four brands featured, Bow & Drape was my favorite!! Their pieces are so unique and playful. It was such an empowering environment. Being around so many young women pursuing their dreams really inspired me. I can guarantee I will be back next year. Even if I don’t get invited back as press, I will gladly attend on my own with my bestie!
Now onto what was inside my goodie bag!!
When I arrived at the event I was greeted with two goodie bags loaded with amazing products. I was honestly shocked at what I was receiving, but also insanely grateful. I was lucky enough to receive the new Fitbit Flex 2. Not only is this a fitness tracker, but also a fashion statement! You can now wear your Fitbit as a necklace and bangle, which are absolutely adorable. I also received a hot pink Rebecca Minkoff clutch. Again, I was a little shocked. I absolutely love the pop of color and will for sure be sharing an outfit featuring this bad boy soon! Some of the other amazing sponsors included Vince Camuto, Bertha Watches, and Perfumania! I walked out with a full size perfume, can you believe that?
