A new week calls for some new hair inspiration. With my hair tutorials I simply hope to inspire you all to try something new! I know trying new hair-do’s is super fun for me and always boosts my confidence. It’s pretty hard to feel down when you have some killer hair going on. As I’ve said before, I’ve been really into simplistic do’s lately. This look is super simple and also a little edgy. It is a great way to keep your hair out of your face while also looking fierce (do people still say that?). Also! I think this look would be even more fun if you did the braids on both sides of your part. Definitely something I will be giving a try!
P.S. not sure why these pictures came out so grainy. But I kind of like the vintage vibes it gives.
1. Start by creating a side part and sectioning the small half into two sections, like shown above. Then clip the top section up and out of the way.
2. Create a dutch braid following the curve of your natural hair line. Continue adding hair untill you reach the base of your ear, then continue with a regular braid down the remaining hair.
3. Next, take down the top section and repeat step 2. Remember to guide this braid farther out and around to keep it from overlapping the first braid. Tie the braid off and you are done.
