Happy Thursday! Thursday has slowly become my favorite day of the week; as it is the last day of my work week! Nothing beats the Before we get into the top details I wanted to mention these jeans. I’ve been in search of the perfect pair for what feels like forever. These dream jeans of mine would ideally be slightly high waisted with a slim straight leg; and that is exactly what these pants are. The one thing they were missing was an oh-so slightly cropped length. In a perfect world these jeans would hit right above the ankle and these didn’t; so I made them the cropped fit I dreamed off! They already had a raw hem to begin with, so chopping a few extra inches off wasn’t all that big of a deal. I absolutely love how they turned out and can’t wait to style them more. For those curious on how I did it, you can check out my mini tutorial for fraying denim here! I basically cut the desired length and then followed my fraying tutorial.
Quick side note!! Since this exact pair is low in stock, I found an almost identical pair, which you can find here. You would just have to cut the hems off to get this exact look, but I promise it is super easy.
ok ok enough about the jeans, now lets talk one should tops and pretty florals! As we all know, off the shoulder tops have been huge for a while now. While one shoulder tops are not quite as popular, I have been seeing more and more of them. Anyone think they will be the next off the shoulder top? I thinking off the shoulder tops are far too popular to be beat out any time soon.
I spotted this top while I was browsing the ASOS app (which I do more often than I’d like to admit) and instantly fell for the print. It is so different from the majority of florals on the market right now, which are light and airy. This complex print almost has a vintage vibe, which I love. I also love the ruffle detail on the front along with the bow detail on the shoulder. These little details didn’t photograph all that well, but you can see better on the ASOS page! Also, this top is actually slightly cropped (hits just below my belly button), but with high waisted jeans its barely noticeable.
