Lately I have been a little overly obsessed with smoothies, green smoothies to be exact. I just think it is a great way to sneak in some vegetables. Now, I know the color is probably freaking you out a little, but I promise it tastes delicious! Trust me, I wouldn’t be drinking this if it tasted anything like a vegetable.
Before we begin I just wanted to mention one thing! I like to use fresh fruit because I think it blends better, but frozen fruit will work just as well! Also, if you do use fresh fruit, I suggest ice cold water to keep the smoothie cold.
And here we go. I hope you all enjoy!
- 1/2 cup water
- 5-7 strawberries (depending on size)
- 1 ripe banana
- 10 pineapple chunks
- 3 big handfuls baby spinach
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Blend all ingredients thoroughly.
