Menemsha Hills

Menemsha Hills

On my last day of vacation, which was yesterday, my mom, aunt, and I started our day off with a beautiful hike through the Menemsha Hills. Menemsha is a small fishing town in Martha’s Vineyard. Honestly, all the towns there are fairly small, in a good way of course!  All these pictures were taken on the way up; on the way down we were dripping in sweat! I would share my outfit details like normal, but all I have on are the oldest pair of gym shorts with a Brandy Melville tank, not very exciting!

This hike brings you out to a beautiful overlook of an insanely rocky beach, which you can actually walk down to. The hike itself wasn’t all that challenging, but the heat that day amplified the intensity a little. The island is usually about 10 degrees cooler than the mainland so this was a little bit of a shocker. Although it was hot the view made it well worth it; and so did the sense of accomplishment we felt at the end!

Sadly my trip to Martha’s Vineyard is over. The Vineyard really is one of my favorite places to be. You can check out my other post from the island here! Next week  life will go back to normal and blog posts will continue on a regular schedule! I have some pretty good ideas for posts, so you could say I’m excited. I feel like a say that a couple times a month, but hey its true!
