I just sat down to type this and am just now realizing how fitting this post is for a Monday. Mondays are rarely ever the best day of the week, but that doesn’t mean you have to take it out on your outfit! Ever since I first delved into the world of fashion, getting ready has been one of my favorite parts of the day. It allows me to be creative and decide what that days vibe is going to be. This look was inspired by all the monochrome (varying tones in one color) outfits I have seen on Pinterest (some examples of this trend can be found here!). Of course you can do this trend with color too, but who doesn’t love a classic black outfit.
Lets start with the best part of this outfit, the belt. I got this belt back in September and have loved it to pieces ever since. The double buckles (and the details on them) add so much to a look. I love how it gives this monochrome look some texture. It perfectly separates the pieces and keeps them from looking like one black mass of clothing. I feel like black booties are such a staple in any wardrobe, but surprisingly, I only recently picked mine up. These booties are from Target and are under $35! They are great quality, and look so much like a high end pair I’ve seen around the blogging community. Unfortunetly, thy are only available in store. But I did still link to them on Target’s website so you can find them in a store near you.
