Too Faced #tfnofilter Selfie Powders

Lets be real, who could resist something called a selfie powder? It’s such an interesting concept and the packaging is the cutest thing ever!

These powders are marketed as “filters for the real world.” They claim to be weightless, undetectable finishing powders that mimic the effect of your favorite photo filter by using light fragment technology.

There are three “filters” included in this palette. The first one is called Sunrise. Which is a yellow-toned, brightening, diffused warmth. At first impression this one seemed to be the most wearable. So far this one is my favorite and the most worn. The next is Totally Toasted. This shade is absolutely gorgeous. Exactly as described, it is a bronzed, smoothing glow. I have only played around with this one so far. Being super pale 24/7, I think this one will be perfect for the summer when I want to pretend to pretend to be tan. The last shade in the palette is called Moon River. I’m not going to lie, this one scared me at first. A purple powder all over my face sounded insane. But, once on the face there is no sign of purple. Just as it is described, a cool, ethereal light.

I tried to swatch the powders heavily so the color and finish could be seen.  None of the pictures I took really did them justice (I think my lighting was too harsh). I figured I’d put one of the pictures in anyway if anyone was interested in seeing. All of these powders are relatively shear with a radiant finish to them without being sparkly or glittery.

If you’re anything like me and love glowly skin and trying new makeup I would definitely recommend going to check this out! These powders are different from highlighters or bronzers, they create an overall effect of your choice on the skin, not just highlighting certain features. Plus it’s just so stinking cute!

I purchashed mine from my local Ulta for $36.00.

Comment and let me what you think of these selfie powders!

Thanks for reading!

Love, Hannah Lee
