I recently found a new blogger through Instagram. I suppose I should say a new to me blogger considering her page is fairly well established. Anyway, she described herself as a lover of “un-vanilla” fashion. Which, for some odd reason, really stuck with me. The more I thought about it the more I realized how much I too am a lover of un-vanilla fashion. While shopping, my favorite finds are always ones with a certain flair. I consider my style fairly simple with little un-vanilla aspects mixed in. I’m not one to mix loud pieces and patterns, but I do really love working a singular loud piece into my look; this deep teal lace top for example. It gives a look just enough flair to stand out and express myself!

A few weeks ago I found this beautiful lace top from ASOS and instantly added it to my cart. I couldn’t get over how stunning the color was mixed with the lace detailing. If you haven’t noticed already, I constantly have a running wishlist from ASOS. Long story short, It went out of stock and I ended up finding the top I’m wearing here from Zara, which is incredibly similar. It then went out of stock  shortly after I ordered and now the ASOS one has come back! Quite the situation, I know. But I wanted you guys to know the reasoning behind me linking to another piece. I really dislike having to do that, but pieces always seem to go out of stock right when I go to post about them.  This was also my first time exploring and ordering from Zara. Lets just say it is definitely not my last order! I also got a new purse that I can not wait to share with you. It should be on the blog in the next week or so!

This jacket is also a recent find from ASOS. I stalked this jacket for a couple weeks waiting for it to come back in my size! I’ve been wanting a camel coat all winter and this one was only $41! Sadly it is out of stock right now, but I linked some simlar (both in style and price) below.

And yes, I found a pair of these Gucci loafer look alike for under $25. I have to admit, I’m pretty proud of myself for that one. The exact ones I’m wearing are available here. They have been going in and out of stock pretty quickly so keep your eyes pealed if you are interested. Although they are a little more pricey ($53), it is still a huge price cut from the hundred dollar Gucci ones.

Hey Hannah! It’s Rebecca from basic Bloggerss <3 I love your coat so much! I live in Canada, and I ordered a similar coat from ASOS, but it was wayy too big, and I wanted to send it back! The cost to send it back would be $70 (more than the coat itself is worth) and on top of that, I had to pay $30 in duty to the UPS man who delivered the jacket to my house! I live really close to the USA border, so I could have (and probably should have!) shipped it to our USA postal box. Do you get charged when an ASOS package gets sent to your house? I think ASOS based in the UK, and I was wondering if you had to pay a duty fee when they delivered the package to your house and if you have ever returned anything from ASOS!
    XO Rebecca

Aw that really stinks!! I have never had to pay a duty fee and have always had free returns. If you can, I would definitely order to your US postal box next time. It seems like it would be much easier! If you have any other questions feel free to message me on Instagram!

This top is the perfect piece! And that color is absolutely stunning! I actually just bought some lace the other day to make my own piece of clothing with, that looks just like that! I was going to make a dress with it! I love the way you paired it with the relaxed, black denim and the camel coat, the perfect outfit!
